Good evening everyone. SO I’m about a week late in posting the winner of our giveaway. I can’t believe not a single person was hunting me down and begging to know who won. I do apologize. My grandmother is in poor health and I’ve had a lot on my mind. She’s currently in the hospital in Missouri (12 hours away from me) and she could use some prayers. I sure do miss living close to my Granny. She’s one heck of a lady.
I would like to Congratulate lucky number 87…you are our winner of the Christmas fabrics.
87. Lee Ann L.said… Oh, these are gorgeous fabrics! Thank you for a chance to win
I’ve sent you an email.
I want to share a quick picture of a block I made a couple weeks ago. It’s a first for me…my first feathered star and my first insanely teeny tiny block. You can see it measures in at 6.5″.
I really must have been crazy when I made it. I think there are 129 pieces in this little lady. The purchase of this particular pattern falls into the “impulse buy” category. I’m pretty sure I was held at gun point and forced to purchase it. Thanks Mom!!
I shared a picture of it on facebook and someone asked how big the quilt will be. After I stopped laughing hysterically, I responded with 6.5″. This is it. One block. I’m not crazy enough to make another one. Don’t get me wrong. She’s cute. Very cute. I’m just not quite that insane.
Alrighty I think that’s it for tonight. I’ll be quilting tomorrow and I just might to share some pictures of the progress.
It is an insanely awesome block!
It is very pretty. I’m sorry to hear about your Grandmothers illness. I hope she will be well soon. Thank you for hosting the giveaway. Congratulations to Lee Ann.
Prayers for you Grandmother..
Your pieceing skill is amazing, but I too would stop after one..
Beautiful piecing but happy to know you haven’t lost your mind to carry on and make it bigger. Just take really close up pictures… Well done!
Hi Vicky!
I am excited to be a winner! Awesome! I have not received the email you mentioned. I even looked in my spam folder and it is not there either. Could you please resend? dlk3265@gmail.com . If it does not work, I’ll give you my address and other information you need here in the comments and then come back and delete it once you get the information. 🙂
Thank you!
Got the email and replied. Thank you ever so much!
Beautiful and congrats to the winner! Praying for your grandmother!
Love the block. I bought some 1/4″ hexi templates a few months ago and well they are still in the package. 🙂
Fabulous block! I completely get only having one! But it would be beautiful as a block in a sampler quilt – wall-hanging size to show off your amazing piecing skills?! Prayers for your granny (and you)…they are so precious.
I hope your grandmother is okay Vicki and oh my gosh what a beautiful teeny, tiny block!!! Too small for me! I’ve missed you.
