Oh my goodness…last weekend was so much fun! I was fortunate enough to go to Fall Quilt Market with three awesome ladies, my mom, Kacey and Mary. We spent two days wandering around market looking at all the wonderful quilts, fabrics, patterns and other goodies. There was simply too much to see in two days. We walked until we couldn’t walk any more and we laughed until our sides hurt. I even took us on a couple wild goose chases for dinner courtesy of my iphone. We definitely had quite the adventure.
It started Friday night at sample spree. Kacey, my awesome friend, was a quilt market virgin. I tried to give her some insight on sample spree so she would be prepared. I think I didn’t do a very good job. When those doors opened I darted across the room to the Moda table and never looked back. I was on a mission. I needed V and Co.’s new line, Color Me Happy. I can’t believe it but I walked away with two fat quarter bundles of this awesome fabric! Unfortunately Kacey was left in my dust to navigate the room all on her own. Check out the massive amount of people hunting down all the new lines.
I must have taken this photo as I was running from table to table. It’s a blurry mess. Oops. I did hunt her down but looking back I feel really bad for taking off without her. I’m not sure what I was thinking…oh right, I was thinking I NEED FABRIC… Next time I’ll have better manners and drag her with me to the Moda table.
Here’s a look at part of our sample spree haul. I’m pretty sure we went back to the Art Gallery table 3 more times after I took this picture. You just can’t get enough Art Gallery fabric.
It may have taken a luggage cart to get it all up to our room.
Saturday and Sunday we walked the floor looking at all the vendors and all the quilty awesomeness. I took lots of pictures of quilts and I want to share some with you all. I really hope I remember where they were all hanging so I can give proper credit but I’m sure I’ll forget something. I didn’t take notes but I probably should have.

We had such a great time. I wish it could have lasted longer but there’s always next year.
Geez how I wish I could have been there!!!
So glad you had a good time. LOL yup next time you will just have to drag her with you. Thanks for sharing some of your time.
I have always wanted to go to one of these functions. I wonder about getting a license to buy and sell fabric. I have been selling some of my stash on eBay. I dont know what a license would cost but it would be worth it to go to that Moda table for free samples!
Please share some of your AGF, please o pretty please, Thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures, really lovely.
That was a huge sample spree haul you got. Oh I can’t wait until the day that I get to go to market too.
