I finished up my February and March Sugar Block Club blocks today. I had to get them done before the 15th so I can get my name in the pot for a prize. I love prizes.
I even won an awesome prize for meeting my February goals in the Lovely Year of Finishes. I won a Hex-a-Holic Handbook. Woohoo! How did Melissa and Shanna know I secretly love hexies? Now I need to find time to make hexies.
I guess I got sidetracked…I have blocks to show you all.
Overall, I’m really happy with my blocks. But…none of them have ended up 12.5″ and I was very careful when I was piecing them. Not sure what happened but hopefully I can make it work. I might have to add sashing or get creative.
Tomorrow I will be back to working on the quilt along. Wish me luck!
Great blocks!! I’m sure you will put them all together beautifully!!
Very pretty as usual! I am with you….my blocks never turn out the measurements they are suppose to no matter how hard I try. I usually have to do trimming. 🙂
Mine aren’t 12.5″ either! I am thinking I will set my on point. That should help the situation!
I am so going to make these tomorrow. Babysitting for younger two grandchildren now or else I would be so making them!! Yours look GREAT!
I just love your fabrics!
Oh these are so pretty! My blocks often do not turn out “as directed” so don’t give it a thought. You can really create beautiful things.
My 12.5″ blocks always turn out 12.25 for some reason :/
