I don’t know about anyone else but I sure am having trouble getting back to work after Christmas. I have been a tiny bit lazy over the last week. I forced myself to start working on a project today that’s pretty important. Oh boy I’m a master procrastinator! Now I’m down to 2 weeks and under a teeeeny bit of pressure to create something awesome! Ugh.
I have quite the mess going on in my sewing space. A mound of fabric and ric rac are staring at me saying “make me into something beautiful!” They need to hush up. Too much pressure.
I’m playing around with some dresden plate designs too. I think I like them so far.
So, tomorrow I will be frantically trying to figure out the rest of my design. Then I have to get a tutorial ready. That’s the most time consuming part. Tons of pictures and editing pictures. Wish me luck!
I hope you all haven’t been as lazy as I have been. I vow to get up tomorrow and get busy right away.
Can’t wait to see your tutorial!! Good luck!
Hi,
I have looked back at your posts and saw you got the fat quarter bundle -Lark (I also have it), I wondered what you did with it. The same goes with the Good fortune fabric (I also have it) – you showed a sneak peek, but i did’t seem to find a picture of the finished project.
I say that every morning that today I will finish or work on a project…however, we have just incorporated a 1 mile walk into our day, so that comes first! Can’t wait to see what you create!
What is that cute fabric print?? LOVE THAT!!!
I’m so happy to be retired and living in the mountains, to sleep until 9 every day, to sew or not sew. Life is grand. Don’t work too hard. Have fun.
Yes, I’ve been lazy, too. Good luck with your tutorial! I wrote my first tutorial a couple of months ago and, oh my! I needed a week off on a tropical island after that! Haha! They are so hard! (Well, for me anyway).
Have fun getting back in the swing of things!
Looks neat Vicki! I think most of us need to get a little jumpstart after the holidays 🙂
