Happy Mother’s Day! I know you all have been patiently waiting for the announcement of today’s winner. I don’t think I planned it very well to announce on Mother’s Day. I forgot about church and soccer games and everything else fun going on around here.

Now, we must send out a huge thank you to everyone who participated. I cannot believe the overwhelming response we had. We surpassed our goal of 300 followers by a huge amount! Mom and I are so thankful to all of you, our followers and friends!
So many of you loved my circles! I’m so thrilled you loved them. There were lots of questions as to how I did them. The short answer is, raw edge appliqué using Steam a Seam. I will have a tutorial ready before long. I plan on showing you all exactly how I did it.
I hope everyone has a great week! I know I will. Mom and I are meeting in Kansas City for Spring Quilt Market! I cannot wait. So, if you don’t see us around here everyday you know why. We will be walking miles and miles among all the quilty goodness! I’ll post pictures at night if I’m not dead on my feet.
